MEET THE TEAM
JULIA SEKULA | HEAD OF NUTRITION
Julia is a NZ Registered Dietitian who leads the Nutrition Team at Beef + Lamb New Zealand Inc and is responsible for driving the nutrition strategy. She ensures that everything the team does is based on evidence-based science to meet the needs of New Zealand consumers and stakeholders. Julia has spent much of her career educating the future dietetic workforce and people with chronic disease. She brings these skills along with leadership and governance into this role.
KATRINA DIXON | NUTRITION MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (maternity leave)
Katrina, a Registered Dietitian, has a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Exercise Sport Science and a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Katrina actively supports the Head of Nutrition. Her experience with translating nutrition science enables her to bridge the gap between the Nutrition and Marketing/Comms teams to promote the nutritional attributes of beef and lamb to the general public, health practitioners, industry stakeholders and the media.
LIVI KITSON-CLARK | NUTRITION COMMUNICATIONS ADVISER
Livi, a Registered Dietitian, actively supports the Nutrition Team. Her role sees her application of evidence-based science to ensure nutrition information and resources are kept up to date. Livi’s experience in sports nutrition enables her to promote the nutritional attributes of beef and lamb for health & performance.
